I started using Do Not Track about a month ago and about every 5/6 days I get a message from IE9 telling me Do Not Track is slowing down opening a browser window. First it said it was by .20 of a second so I increased the detection to .50, two days later its saying its .55 so I again increased detection time. Its now up to 1.75 after increasing detection time 5 times. It actually made me wonder if IE9 wanted me to shut down Do Not Track because apparently every other add on takes 0.00 seconds.
Does Do Not Track accumulate start up data, if it does how can it be cleared?
Thanks for your reply, I understand that AVG team members are not always available, especially weekends/holidays. There is no hurry with the inquiry, I imagine it will be a few weeks before Do Not Track slows down my browser enough that I will have to shut it off. I am curious as to why its taking longer and longer to load into the browser.
