I am having the exact same problem as sootygirl. I have contacted avg and was transferred twice. I was finally transferred to the correct location and then no one picked up after being on hold for toooooo long. Please help. Is LiveKive website having a problem?
I am having this same issue. I purchased AVG LiveKive 25GB in December 2011 and it showed on my account as 'auto-renew until canceled'. I noticed last month that my syncs were not up to date, on opening the application it says 'control center disconnected'. I logged into AVG Account web page and it says my subscription ran out in December 2012 and is 'deactivated'. I could not see any way to renew my subscription so purchased AVG LiveKive 50GB. Now the application still says 'control centere disconnected' and if I install on another PC it says my email address/password combination is not recognised. I have contacted AVG support via live chat 3 times without them being able to fix the issue, I even phoned the support number and chatted to an Indian woman who then put me on hold to transfer me to an expert, after an hour of being on hold AVG disconnected the call! I contacted live support again who said they would email me but never did! The lack of support and empty promises from AVG is totally unacceptable.
I also just purchased the annual subscription.
I have the same problem, with the "disconnected" light, and "bad" network health.
I was on hold for 70 minutes before giving up and hanging up.
Requesting a refund today.
I am having the same issue with Control Center Disconnected, and I have the paid unlimited subscription. I don't see any resolution to this post. Can someone help in providing a resolution on this issue?
Was this problem rectified? If so, please could you tell me how to fix it, as I'm having the same problem today. My internet connection is otherwise fine, but just unable to connect for LiveKive backup, "Control Center Disconnected" :confused: .
This is on my laptop, so I'm going to try it on my big PC, to see if its the same problem.
