As regards uploading, the issue then is with the error message that says ""Field '' is invalid. File is in forbidden types jpeg,jpg,gif,png,doc,pdf,txt,htm,html,ace,gtar,gz,rar,tar,zip,7z,log,csv,cab,docx,app,reg,nfo,."
That indicates that all of those file types are invalid. Perhaps if the message was changed to say what it means it would make it clearer?
My Open Suse 12.3 is running AVG as a cron job daily. It is scanning my home (ext) partition and an additional ntfs partition. Beginning on June 7th scanning of home partition crashed as described by all other users in this forum. Scanning of ntfs partition is running well.
After reinstallation of AVG 2013 everything was ok but after running an "avgupdate" in the terminal the previous described crash occurred again on the home partition while scanning of the ntfs partition is still ok.
May be this information helps AVG to locate the problem and solve it soon.
This is a serious problem that prevents the Linux AV scan from running. It was raised 10 days ago but there has been no comment from AVG. Please could we have some indication of what is being done to address this issue?
