Switch AVG Trial to AVG Free

Once your AVG Trial version expires, “You have lost your AVG protection! Your AVG protection has expired.” error message is displayed, you have two options how to resume AVG protection.
1) You can remove the Trial version and install AVG Free for continued basic protection.
2) You can purchase a license for the advanced protection you were enjoying.

My computer is infected

Many users are asking us how to proceed when they have a suspicion that their computer become infected. We have summarized general procedure in the FAQ 2869.

AVG Secure Search uninstallation

If you want to completely remove AVG Secure Search toolbar and associated browser changes, please follow FAQ 5200 where you can find detailed instructions.

Windows 8 compatibility

AVG 2013 Remote Administration

AVG Remote Administration and endpoint protection 2013 products are now available for beta testing! We’re happy to announce that all products (AVG 2012, 2013) can now be tested together with Remote Administration 2013. Since this new version has overhaul of several components, we’d like you to install and test the products in order to verify they work properly.
