Still can not scan outgoing emails with AVG 2012. Receive error message and email remains unsent. Same problem as with AVG 2011. No problem if emails are not scanned.
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. please be informed we were not able to induce this behavior in our testing environment. Developers do have all needed diagnostic data at the moment. AVG e-mail scanner implementation is going to be changed in one of the following AVG cumulative program updates.
Disabling the outgoing e-mail scanning is the only workaround for this issue.
Renamed avgnsx to avgnsx.old. Downloaded avgnsx.zip archive and extracted files. Set AVG to scan outgoing emails and to add certification and attempted to induce error. Now emails are sent without error, but certification is not added. Tried this with the new files in AVG directory and in AVG/AVG2012 directory. Same result in both cases. Will delete new avgsnx and dll and return avgnsx to the way it was and see what happens.
EDIT.. Deleted new files and returned avgnsx.old to original avgnsx and restarted computer. Problem has returned when certification is turned on.
