How to create a screenshot:
Windows
1. When the needed window is active, press
Print Screen (located next to the
F12 key on most keyboards).
- If you are running Windows on an Apple computer, press
Shift+
Fn+
F11.
2. Open any image editor (e.g. Microsoft Paint in Windows Accessories) or Microsoft Word, and then press
CTRL+
V.
3. Save the new image to your computer (we recommend saving it to the Desktop for easy access).
4.
Attach the saved file to your next post.
Windows Vista/7
Windows Vista and Windows 7 features the
Snipping tool suitable for creating custom screenshots:
1. Press
Windows logo key +
R simultaneously.
2. Type
snippingtool into the opened window and click
OK.
3. Small
Snipping tool window will be opened.
4. Click the small triangle icon within the
New button and choose preferred type of the screenshot.
- We recommend creating
Full-screen Snip to make sure all the information is included on the screenshot.
5. Press
Ctrl +
S to save the created screenshot and
attach it to your next post.
Mac OS
1. When the needed window is active, press
Command +
Shift +

- If you'd like to take a screenshot of a specific area of the screen, press
Command +

2. A screenshot will be created on your Desktop.
