Hi,

I have: AVG Internet Security 2012 paid version
I have no interest in components Speed test, Live Kive, Family Safety nor AVG Mobilation. These showed up on my Overview screen when I installed the missing fire wall component. I want to keep Anti Virus, LinkScanner, E-mail protection, Firewall, Anti Rootkit, System Tools and Identity Protection.
How do I remove the icons for Speed test, Live Kive, Family Safety and AVG Mobilation without affecting the components that I need?

Thanks
Frank Camp

Thanks BIG AL 43,

I will live with the Overview screen as it is now constituted. It irritates me that they use a paid product to try and get me to buy more features. If I want to know what AVG has available I can go to their web site or they can send me an E-Mail.

Regards
Frank C

Thanks for the link Nemethste
That seems like a lot of work with the potential for unintended consequence just to remove an annoyance. I will decline that choice.
Thanks

Hello Papa Frank,

There is no need to worry. If you carefully follow mentioned steps, all the procedures will be finished in a few minutes.

Unfortunately there is no other way, to resolve this issue, than mentioned re-install with remover.

Thank you.
