I downloaded and ran a free 24 hour trial of PC Tuneup 2011 in an effort to speed up my excruciatingly slow PC.
OS: Windows Vista Home Premium
After running the Tuneup - leaving everything checked (perhaps mistakenly) as it had opened - I can no longer open any MS Office 2010 Application.
Double clicking on any MS Ofc short-cut (anywhere) results in Windows Installer opening followed by this error message: "Problem with Shortcut: The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it."
I have just tried to uninstall and reinstall my Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 and can't even do that... I get the following error message: MICROSOFT SETUP BOOTSTRAPPER HAS STOPPED WORKING. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
OK - after having to learn how to sign in as administrator in order to compress the following files - here they are. MSinfo - is as you requested. There are three jpegs in the print scrn folder - Scrn 1 - is the first thing that happens when I click on an MS Office Short-cut/icon - Scrn 2 is the second error message I get. The third is the Bootstrap error report. Hope that's helpful in getting things sorted.
