I'm an AVG reseller, since last 2-3 days AVG ask to reboot after every update completion. I think that it's a problem.

This occurred in AVG Business 2013 on WinXP and Win7 and at the moment only on standalone client AVG (no connection to AVG server and relative component is not installed).

Any suggestions ?

Hi msignori,

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this issue.

The restarts are being caused by a bug in the latest update. The bug only affects certain language versions of Windows, French, German, and Italian. Our development team are currently working on a fix for this which should be released soon.

In the meantime you can either postpone the restart requests or remove and reinstall AVG

Hi msignori,

Yes, it was a bug that only affected 2013 versions. The fixed program update was released a few days ago - 2013.0.3469

- Restart is still needed after the program update is applied.

Once on build 3469, restart requests should disappear.
