I don't know why my computer keep getting those annoying things. Now, I find this Outfox TV stuff, popping up on my computer all the time. Moreover, AVG said my computer is clean after scan. Can someone help me out?
Also, I need some advice for avoiding these kind of things in the future. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks.
Sorry for your situation.
Here are some suggestions for you to prevent those annoying in future: 1) Be cautious when clicking some link. It can point your browser to download threats or visit malicious web site. 2) Don't download unknown "free" software 3) Avoid opening unknown e-mail attachments.
Meanwhile, to remove this Outfox TV, you should first get your computer into safe mode. Find the path where Outfox TV hide, and completely remove it all.
Check our this path C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data.
Can you please show me all folders and files here if it is possible?

Ohhh it's terrific having this type of issues on our system. But after seeing your issue, i have installed the Outfox TV app in my laptop. But i have no issues found with this app. I found this app very good and easily uninstallable. I would like to say you that Outfox TV is not a virus. That's why you have found this message from your antivirus "AVG said my computer is clean after scan."
So nothing to worry about that. You can surf the internet very easily while Outfox TV is showing on your PC. If you want to uninstall this app from your system, for that i have found some uninstallation tips at Outfox TV blog:
We had a lot of issues with earlier versions of the OutfoxTV app that failed to reset the browser tabs when the uninstaller was run. Our team has been working on it long hours to improve the issues people experienced.
The latest version of the App available at www.outfox.tv via the download link includes a full uninstaller that should also reset all browser tabs upon removal.
We have also added Settings (to access Settings, just right click on the Desktop Launchbar or go to Start / All Programs / OutfoxTV / Settings)
I've attached the Settings option how it should look - if you right click on the launchbar, change the settings to hide browser tabs, that will solve any issue with OutfoxTV appearing when you open your browser.
The Settings allow you to choose to remove browser tabs altogether, and whether or not to show the launchbar on the desktop.
Please try it out - we're getting feedback it's a vastly better experience.
If any of the above options don't work for you, please email email@example.com. We provide assistance free of charge, unlike the many blog posts out there claiming the app is malware and requires their paid assistance to remove it. It is definitely not malware and we'll help anyone, whether they want to keep or remove OutfoxTV.
