OS: Windows 7 64bit
AVG version: 2013 free
No other protection installed, only Windows Firewall
Path of virus: C:\Windows\System32\ie4uinit.exe

AVG informed me of an infected file in my System32 folder, when I told the program to deal with the threat, it said that access was denied and that no action was taken. How can I give AVG permission to do this? Shouldn't it have administrator's access?

I don't know how serious this is, but I would like to get rid of the threat.

Hello Sp3ctrE,

In order to analyze your issue please provide us with more information (AVG scan result export, Msinfo output, GMER scan result).

Thank you.
