Prog Version 2013.3258.. No More Notification Sound !

Hello
After updating AVG free 2013 to 3258 the sounds for notifications dont work anymore, even when i selected another wav sound true interface.... Before there was no problem.
Win7 X64 AVG free 2013.3258

Never mind my question, i left AVG and made a switch to another antivirus program !! ... For now
Also had a high ping to certain servers because of avg and many xp users cant boot their computer because off a wrong update! (bad publicity)
