Good morning,

we have a lot of customers with AVG 9.0 (home and client smb) that have the following issue:

c:\windows\system32\wintrust.dll
Trojan.Generic32.FJU at opening.

This issue is started from today.

We already tried to update definitions but without success

It´s a bug in the signature.
AVG is still working on a update.
Known problems only at XP and AVG 9.
Don´t panic :wink:

I want to add this:
few AVG 2012 BE on some of our win xp machines notified the same alert after a post-update scan that ran this morning.
In those cases there were about 20-30 threat notifications (some were repetitions), all of them referencing different processes handling wintrust.dll and automatically putting the library into the whitelist.

Sembra un falso positivo / Seem like a false positive..

Ciao a tutti
ho lo stesso problema su un cliente dove ho provato Malwarebytes Anti-Malware che non ha rilevato nulla.
Ora sto scansionando con HouseCall di TrendMicro ma pare nulla anche con quello.

Qui parla di un probabile falso positivo.

Hi everybody
I got the same problem on a customer where i tryed Malwarebytes Anti-Malware that found nothing
Now I'm scanning with TrendMicro HouseCall but seem that nothing is found.

Here speaks about a false positive

I know..

The signatures are the same from 9 to 2013.
So there are the same errors on different versions.
They told me that they know only problems from XP and AVG 9.
But we had a customer who has the problem on at W2K8 R2 TS-Server with 2012.
So every actual AVG version has the same problem.

Risolto / Solved..

Appena aggiornato AVG il problema scompare...

Just Updated AVG and the problem disappear...

Fact is that pc became very very slow!!

Is a false positive.
AVG viruslab are working on a solution.
