Extreme Malware..

No legitimate software would hijack the home page after removal. I disabled then removed AVG from my Chrome browser, then I removed AVG completely from my system. My home page continues to fall into AVG search engine even after I set it for google.com. The design of the software is offensive to users.

avg search jacking..

AVG was being flagged as malware by other virus scans and now I see why. I have now uninstalled and refuse to ever use this malware again. Overriding common default user settings without asking for explicit and obvious clarification can be classified as nothing else.

Hi avg_search_s***s,

Thank you for your feedback. We've noted it and passed it to the managers.

Note that browser settings are changed as part of the campaign and users consent is required... see attached screenshot.
