Do you know if the AVG e-mail Security SPAM and SMTP filtering will work on a Microsoft SMTP Relay ? . . where you just run the SMTP service under IIS and forward all inbound mail to the Exchange Server ?

We are testing AVG on our Exchange 2010 server now, but would rather have the email security functions on a DMZ.

Hi swbca,

There aren't any known issues with this, the antispam plugin runs under the SMTP service as well as one of the av plugins so this should be okay.
