We are running AVG Admin Server Lite 2013.0.2813.

1. When I open the report I can see Basic Information and UpdateProxy server role. At the end of the proxy info is a section on downloads and uploads which always shows no downloads, no uploads and 0 bytes for files downloaded and uploaded. How do I get this information to display the actual data ?

2. When I click the List of served stations button to check which stations are downloading updates from the server all the information is present except that the recorded times are actually 4 hours earlier than local time. How do I get that page to show local times ?

Hi BigBrett,

It sounds like the full version of Admin is installed as the Admin Lite version should only install the update proxy and network installer roles.

1 - The Admin Console will download updates when requested by a workstation. If no stations are requesting updates, this value will stay at 0. Should the workstations be updating from the Admin Server?

2 - The time settings are probably set to GMT. This can be changed under 'View' > Options > Untick 'Show time values in GMT'

- Restart the Admin Console

Definitely only installed Admin Server Lite using avg_rad_x86_all_2013_2813.exe and choosing to install Lite.

I might however have installed the full Admin Server back when we were using AVG 6/7/8/9 but that would have been removed long ago.

Stations are definitely updating from the server as shown by the list of stations downloading updates (which is where I picked up the date problem).

Nowhere in the Server Lite settings can I find an option to change the date setting. The PC itself is set correctly.

Thanks for the answers. Can I get a couple of screenshots of the information you are seeing please? One showing the list of stations with the inaccurate time and one showing the 0 usage. If any of the screenshots contain any sensitive information, add them to a zip file using your login address as the password.

In the served station list note that IP 10.10.15.12 was updated at 7:13 AM local time (GMT+2) and is showing 5:13 which is obviously GMT (my original assertion of 4 hours difference was actually incorrect, simple subtraction error with 24 hour times ).

Admin Server Lite was installed on 15 January and has been serving updates since then.

Thanks for the screenshot, it all makes sense now. Sorry for not knowing what you were referring to, the Admin Server report is something that is rarely asked about on support.

As far as the GMT time issue, we will create a bug for this. The system time is reflected accurately in the Admin Server Monitor, but not the report.

I am currently looking into the usage statistics and will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi BigBrett,

Unfortunately the Server statistics in the Admin Server report requires the 'DataCenter' role to be used in order to display the information regarding upload\download times etc. This would require a full installation of the Admin Console.

Will create a bug for the GMT issue for the Admin Lite Report. Please let us know if you need anything else.
