I downloaded and burned the rescue CD. I'm trying to disinfect a Toshiba L770D laptop that got a virus. The laptop won't boot windows in any mode. I've been running the AVG CD but it goes to about 74% complete on the progress bar then stalls, then errors out.
That laptop in it's current state when trying to boot in windows will stall at a blue screen with the mouse cursor.
Am I doing something wrong? Did I miss a step?

In order to analyze your issue please provide us with more information (better description, screenshot, are you able to boot into safe mode, etc).
