Hello,
I am trying to remove a copy of AVG from a Windows XP SP3 machine. I am getting the following error message. (see below) I have tried to use the latest uninstaller but that was unsuccessful. It appears the AVG is corrupt so I am attempting to remove it and reinstall. Outlook keeps throwing up Add-on errors with AVG but none listed in Outlook. Any ideas?
local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgldx86.sys: creating backup....
