Hi,

One of my client has AVG Internet Security Business Edition 2012 installed on his SBS 2011 Server. When we launch Exchange Management Console we get a Kerberos authentication failed & winrm quickconfig error.

When i disable AVG for 10 mins it works fine. I have added C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange & C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv & C:\Inetpub in the resident shield exception list but nothing works when the protection is enabled.

Is there any fix for this issue?

Hi assimenator,

This is issue usually caused by the Personal Email Scanner, please can you confirm if this component is installed?

- Open AVG > Support > Product tab
- If it says 'Personal Email Scanner', please install the AVG 2012 Email Server edtion:

AVG for email servers - http://www.avg.com/gb-en/download-2012.prd-ise

- Run the file and choose repair installation
- Add the excludes for Exchange if not added already - http://www.avg.com/gb-en/faq.num-4512

Please bear in mind that the repair will most likely ask for a Server restart.

Thank You, using the AVG for Email server i was able to uninstall the personal server feature & install Anti-spam & exchange features.

The issue doesn't exist anymore.
