: Warning Plugin Not Active; But All Extensions Selected In Preferences..

Running AVG LinkScanner on MacBook Air under OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2). The main AVG LlnkScanner Overview window warns I may not be protected: Secure Search component warns "One or more plugins not active." When I click on Configure, the AVG Preferences > Secure Search pane has Enable Secure Search selected and both Enable Safari Extension and Enable Firefox Extension check boxes are selected. There is nothing more for me to do.

So what is the problem being reported, and what am I supposed to do to clear the warning?
