One site reports that scripthelper.exe is a virus...

I am seeing that scripthelper.exe is a virus as reported on this site:
http://www.novirus365.com/Softwareantivirus/104908.html
Is this true? or is this a lie they tell people because they want people to use THEIR anti-virus software?

WARNING: The customer service phone technicians do not know about this problem. I explained that I was receiving a pop-up, telling the technician that I was concerned that I had a virus, but that warning said the publisher was AVG.

I was told that this was probably a virus masking as an AVG program. He admitted also that he did not know of this 'virus'. He didn't not say, "this is a proper part of an AVG program". He told me that since it was a virus that he was referring me to the paid software support "software buddy" service. I would have been on the line to them except that I hung up after 30 minutes of being on hold. During the time before I hung up, I ran a scan with zero problems showing, and read a very bad recent consumer warning about a person's experience with the buddy service.

Needless to say, I am disappointed with this experience.

I just signed up... herro
I'm quite aware that this is a legitimate part of AVG, I knew that before I signed up here and read these forums. It was installed since before I bought my computer, therefore it must be. Since I had this computer I've had the AVG Security Toolbar disabled, and I recently disabled the AVG plugin. For me, this problem came months after having disabled the AVG Security Toolbar, any help? From what I'm getting, it appears to me as though it's a website unrelated to AVG spamming me... especially since it says "A website wants to open this program on your computer: ScriptHelper.exe"
-.-
Any help please? Whether I click on the "Do not show this warning again" thing and hit "Allow" or "Don't allow" I get the warning over and over again anyway...
