No new updates 'warning'..

Hi,
I am using AVG 9.0.914, Virus Database version: 271.1.1/3890, Release date: 11 Sept 2011 and I am getting the little warning triangle on the AVG icon in the taskbar, yet when I update there are , apparently no new updates available. Please can someone assist me with this issue?

Currently your AVG should be on 9.0.914 271.1.1/3906.... You could try updating manually.. AVG Update from directory.... Have a look @ FAQ #2420 http://free.avg.com/ww-en/faq.num-2420#num-2420 but use the Iavi & LinkScanner definition files from this link http://www.avg.com/ww-en/download-update-9.

Is your system suitable for updating to AVG 2012 http://forums.avg.com/ww-en/avg-forums?sec=thread&act=show&id=170954(Scroll Down)?.

My Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware are both being shown as out of date.

And today, i have the following - Virus DB 271.1.1/3906 and the same version as above.

Have others who had the same issue as I had got the new definition db?

Just curious. Incidentally, I left the machine on overnight.

solution for AVG 9 Says There Are No New Updates But Remains Out Of Date..

1.first go to the TOOLS menu and select the advanced settings option into that.
2.In the wizard go to the update option and select the Manage update.
3.In the Update management there is a option delete temporary update files select that.
4.The update files are deleted click ok
5.Update once again and now you see that the message is gone that the virus database is outdated.
