i have installed avg antivirus. the following 9 processes are running in my task manager:
are they viruses?

plz help how can one program run so many processes and one process (look above) runs twice.plz help.
any help would be highly appreciated.

All processes are from AVG except alg.exe which is Application Layer Gateway Service (Microsoft).

It is common that one program runs many processes.
