Just updated my subscription but would not update. Reinstalled over top but still shows "not fully protected. All the overview icons are missing except Identity Protection which is disabled. FIX does nothing. Tried a Repair install but no luck.

Problem may have started yesterday as another program did an old update file cleanout and screwed up a lot of links. I undid it but some damaged remained but figured a reinstall should overwrite the problem.

What are my options. Complete removal and reinstall, or is there any other tool I might check. Does AVG use MS Redistributal files?

Please temporarily un-install Microsoft security client and all other security software you are using because having multiple security solutions may result into unintended behaviour, because they may be using similar resources.

Do not forget to follow After restart section and make sure that you are using right version of remover (64 bit).
