Sorry again, I sent the wrong one again. Plus I had to use the avg utility tool because of its size. I uploaded file congos1535.7z I wish there was a way I could clean up unnecessary post in thread/and or a cancel/delete post. thanks for all the help!

Pokornyz wrote Hello congos1,
For further analysis please provide us with complete Windows crash dump file:
1) Follow this Microsoft article and setup system to create dump after pressing CTRL+SCROLL LOCK+SCROLL LOCK
2) Induce freeze again, then press CTRL+SCROLL LOCK+SCROLL LOCK
3) Provide us with dump file from C:\Windows\memory.dmp
Thank you
I tried the shortcut to create memory dump....didn't seem to work.Upon trying the link to Microsoft to create dump file. It says the article is not associated with my system.I will have to do more research on what to do next.
I did find out about the start up and recovery advanced settings and found thing for memory dumps such as the directory,size,etc.....mine say its in %systemroot%\minidump .......could this be the location instead of C:\Windows\memory.dmp If so, what size? small,kernel,complete...I read only do complete if last resort. I also did a search for %system....... no results though.I will continue reading and await my next move. thanks again.

Well I figured out I have ps2 keyboard..Just to make sure we are on the right page before I go messing with my registry keys. You think I should create the reg key for ps2 keyboard to crash my system from keyboard? (not crashing system is one of my main concerns.Completing avg scan is the other) also I can use control/alt/delete when avg isn't froze up. What about what I have asked in previous post about changing the size of the dump in start up and recovery. and or its location?
I just want to make sure I do the registry change correct.(adding value then crash through keyboard just so we can create a dump file (correct?)

Hello congos1,
To enable complete memory dumps please follow this post.
Yes, with PS/2 keyboard
you must enable the keyboard-initiated crash in the registry. In the registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\i8042prt\Parameters, create a value named CrashOnCtrlScroll, and set it equal to a REG_DWORD value of 0x01.
Thank you
