It would seem that the Russian office site AVG free version of Comodo firewall installed with no problems, but here!
http://www.avg.com/ww-en/homepage
It would seem that in English. office site is not set - conflict with Comodo firewall. Recommends that you delete.
So I do not understand why. Want to check the themselves. It's amazing.
No, everything would be fine, but I was suddenly confused by the name of the site freeavg, a dike think I downloaded from the native English. and here you puzzle.

avg_free_stb_all_2012_1913_cnet.exe - distribution name on freeavg
avg_avct_stb_all_2012_1913.exe - in English. site.
Sorry for the english, I hope you understand ...

Hello JohnLocke,

Please note that in some regions AVG site is redirected to freeavg.com.
The website is legitimate and redirect is correct for Russia.

Comodo Firewall is currently detected as conflicting application during AVG installation.
This detection should be removed in one of the following AVG program updates.

Current workaround to install AVG with Comodo Firewall is described in post 183743.

Thank you

Conflict Comodo..

I downloaded from the Russian site and already installed. It installed without problems and conflicting programs. The question is why? If you download from you, then there conflict programs. Strange, is it not? ...

I've been using and still like it. But there were several questions on the work of free and paid versions. I'll ask about that later.
Thank you.

Hello JohnLocke,

Installation situation described is indeed quite strange, as same installation package should be offered on both freeavg.com and avg.com sites.
If your AVG is working and updating correctly, there is nothing to worry about.

Thank you
