Same problem. Registered and reregistered on my device and get a "success" message but when using the same google account on the web site it gives a Device not Registered error. Only difference is that the account it shoes as being used has capitalised letter for my first and last names, though my google account name is all lower case. Fails if I retry registering with the capitalised letters in the account.
Problem persisted for three days including today ( a Wednesday) but had worked last time a tried some weeks ago.
Does not fill me with confidence should I lose my phone. Maybe have to consider Kaspersky if AVG is unreliable as when you need it this feature is essential.
After a week of trying off and on last night I successfully got through to the Locate page on the AVG Mobilation web site without a Device Not Registered Error. Had again tried several time re-registering the device, each time with a "Success" message, but somehow the problem seem to have resolved itself as of yesterday. :smile:
Attempts to report the problem to AVG Support via the mobile device and the website did not get any response but maybe someone fixed it anyway. If so thank you.
Will regularly check I can Locate in case this issue re-occurs and to reinstate my confidence in this particular AVG product.
I am having the exact same issue with my sons tablet. We have 3 cell phones and 2 tablets that are running avg without a glitch. I bought another tablet for my other son because he is going to the u.s. for a couple months. I wanted him to have some back up, incase he lost his tablet. When we register it, it says registration succesful but when we try and locate it via mobilations web site, it says device registration issue. my son leaves tomorrow to go to the staes. please help. his email is ---- and my email is ---- email addresses removed to protect you from spammers ----
