I've got a bugger of a question here: believe it not, we've got a Windows Server 2000 running AVG 9. This server is our Domain Controller; I might like to setup AVG 2012 (x86 I am assuming...) Remote Admin and have it be the server for this domain. However, when I run the setup for RA, I get an error: "The procedure entry point GetProcessId could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll". AVG: recommendations, please? (Besides the obvious: retire that server and upgrade...)

Hi mwpowellhtx,

Unfortunately we stopped supporting Windows 2000 when Microsoft did. AVG 9.0 was the last supported version of AVG that can be installed on this platform.

You can either install the Admin Console onto a different machine on the network or upgrade the Server to Server 2003 or above.

If you need the links to download AVG 9.0 for the 2000 Server again, let us know and we will get them to you. They are no longer available from our website.

Thanks,

Michael Allen
