I'm not getting the green check mark next to my links any more. I have safe search enabled in the ie9 addons. LinkScanner works correctly with ie9 and bing. LinkScanner works correctly with firefox 4.0.1 and google.

A repair installation fixed it. If I ever have another problem with AVG again, I'll be sure to try that before I post. Thank you very much!

LinkScanner: IE9+Google..

After a repair installation, the problem was fixed for a short amount of time and came back for no reason I can think of. I have tried uninstalling, then using the removal tool, and then installing again. IE9 + Google still doesn't want to display LinkScanner results. Every other combination of browser and search provider that I have tried works fine with LinkScanner. You already have my MSINFO and a screenshot that illustrates the problem, so I won't bother posting those again. If you want them, you can just visit the link above. Here is my log folder from my AVG 2012 Free.

I also find out that it only happen if you are logged into Google account (you can log out as temporary solution).

LinkScanner not working..

Just to add a little further to this debate.
When using Firefox I do not get the green ticks yet if I switch to IE then I do.
Does this throw any light on the problem?

Your issue may be entirely different from one originally described in this thread.
Please check if AVG addon is enabled in Firefox, as described in Weekly overview: 46/2011.

If it is, provide us with all AVG log files, list of addons installed in Firefox and with MSinfo output.

Logout trick only works once..

It only works for the FIRST search you do after logging out. Every search done after that will not show LinkScanner results.
