On the 21st I paid for AVG Internet Security 2012 with a 1 year license. I shortly thereafter received an email with my order number and payment confirmation. On the email there was also this message
"We are currently generating your license number. We will resend this email with your new license number soon. Thank you for your patience."
I checked and my money has already been received by AVG. Well today the is the 24th and I still have not received my license, I can not install this software without it.
I have tried using the online chat feature through tech support. After waiting an hour and a half a I finally had my turn with a rep. He told me that he saw my order but did not see a license number in it. He then told me that this had to be escalated to a higher department and gave me a claim number and told me they would email me what to do. I have yet to be emailed from there either.
All I want is my license number so I can install my antivirus and be able to use my computer again. Any suggestions? I have waited almost 4 days already for 1 email and almost 12 hours for another. I am not trying to be disrespectful but I can not believe it is this complicated to get a license number by email.
