Every day since 5/7/11, a blinking alert shows up in the Sys Tray……When I click on it, I get—

“A program need your permission to continue”…..”If you started this….etc”

Most recently for about 2 weeks, I’ve been getting 2 Sys Tray alerts at the same time …..They’re identical….. …

My AVG History log shows----Updates start and finish normally…..

AVG Overview screen shows------ All components are Active ……

------Last Update: shows current date each day…..

As of today………Virus DB = 1509/3695
………AVG version = 10 0 1375

How do I stop these daily alerts….???.......Thanx in advance…..

Sorry for not getting back sooner….

1. The instructions for ‘Reinstall, Uninstall, Repair’ quote right click on ‘the red download avg now’

When I follow your link to ‘the latest install package’, I’m given a green ‘download’ button…

2. I tried using the link given in the ‘repair install’, but that gives 3 package choices…..Since I have a 32 bit system, I know I can ignore the one for the 64 bit……But, I’m left with the question of which package ……I assume it’s the 163 MB one --------- AVG for Windows (32bit)
(avg_free_x86_all_2011_1382a3669.exe) …….

Please clarify 1 and 2 for me…….Thanx

Please download this package:
AVG for Windows (32bit)
(avg_free_x86_all_2011_1382a3669.exe)

Afterwards simply execute the package (doubleclick on it) and choose repair installation.
