I have installed AVG Free 9.0

When I go to the update manager the Times to do automatic update is Every day

I want to change it to the Selection, Periodically but its shaded in and it cannot be selected no matter what i do

How can I fix it so that becomes live and can be selected?

My first thought is that AVG has to be bought to make that possible but I have done it in previuous versions of AVG and if I cant change this than I will be uninstalling it and getting another virus checker because it is aggravating to have to put up with an upodate everyday and an after-update virus scan
