System - Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)

ERROR MESSAGE

Local machine: installation failed
Installation:
Error: Action failed for file avgwdsvc.exe: starting service....
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.

I have tried this over and over again with the same results.
